Teller County government is still operating, even though our offices are closed in compliance with the Governor’s Stay at Home Order. We are working diligently to provide you with the services you need. Many services can be accessed online, and most of our employees are working remotely from home to serve you. Your health and the health of our community is important to us. We will be fully operational again as soon as possible.

 2020 CENSUS
It’s not too late AND It has never been easier to respond to the census on your own...whether online, over the phone or by mail...all without having to meet a census taker

 2020 Census field operations will resume in Colorado on May 18th. Households that do not receive mail at their homes can expect a Census Bureau employee to leave a census packet at the front door of the residence. Field staff will observe social distancing protocols.

 The DRAFT 2019 GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN is available for public comment. Please provide comments to the Teller County Planning Department. For more information and to review the plan, please CLICK HERE.

 Teller County and its regional partners are kicking off an effort to update the County’s multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan. This plan considers hazard risks in our communities and includes a strategy to reduce risks to the County’s infrastructure and critical facilities, businesses, and residents. We welcome your input! Please take a few minutes to fill out our community survey and let us know how hazards affect you and strategies we should consider to reduce risks to your community.
